Out my notes the words "not served" grabbed me.
The judge was about to dismiss an injunction when the woman had not been served with the order. Essentially, she didn't know about the dismissal hearing. I whispered my discovery to the bailiff. He spoke with the clerk, who presented it to the judge.
The injunction was not dismissed.
Her safety could have been extinguished.
He could've hurt her again.
It turns out that even in the mundane tasks, even in the seemingly insignificant moments of our life, we can do great things. Thanks to God that is. I am sure that He had something to do with this. And that makes me rejoice.
